An overview of the Visual Storytelling Series:

This series of workshops teaches skills and concepts that are applicable to any type of art making: any medium, any subject and any project, from a single painting, to a gallery series, to an entire children’s book or portfolio.

These are the skills that artists utilize to create strong images. Come stretch your artistic sensibilities! Appropriate for all skill levels with some art experience background.
(Not appropriate for complete beginners.)

In the Fundamentals series, we will cover foundational concepts necessary to produce creative and impactful art and illustration. The three mini-workshops (either live or recorded), each 3 weeks long, are prerequisites for taking the advanced Visual Story-Telling workshop, unless you have samples of your work that demonstrate that you are familiar with the concepts being covered.

Sessions are recorded, so if you cannot attend live, you can still access all the material.
If you have questions in between classes you can receive an email critique for or a private mentoring session. We also have a private FaceBook group for students to share resources, exercises and projects.
